Rachel Luis is a Tampa native that is happy to call this dynamic city her home. She moved to Tallahassee to attend college in 1999 and after graduation, relocated to Orlando. While there, she found herself driving back to Tampa every weekend to visit her family and friends and realized that her heart was truly in Tampa. She relocated back to Tampa in 2006 and has not looked back. She recently was able to transition her career into the non-profit world. This is something she is very proud of and hopes to become an expert in the industry.
Rachel is also a member of the Junior League of Tampa where she has taken on leadership roles by serving on the grant writing and fundraising committees. She is also a member of Biz-E-Chicks, an association of women entrepreneurs, and Emerge Tampa Bay. She has a passion for spending time with her family and friends, travelling the world (she’s been to 10 countries, but still has several more to visit!), FSU football, wine tasting, planning vacations, event planning/fundraising, volunteering, hosting dinner parties, and cuddling with her dog, Scooby Doo. She recently married her best friend and adores both her husband and seven year old step-son!
